Ruwaad is a property development company based in Dubai, focusing on unique master developments and hospitality initiatives in the tourism sector.
When Ruwaad signed a deal with Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures (to develop a signature lifestyle destination at a cost of US$2.5 billion with a world-class theme park, hotels, resorts, retail areas and residential and commercial spaces), they obviously wanted to make a big splash at a press conference. But they needed a supporting website, and had limited time in which to create it, so they turned to THINK.
THINK was given just one week to develop and deliver a microsite dedicated to the announcement. Armed with little more than a logo and basic information about Ruwaad and its new deal, THINK designed a framework for the site, sourced images to reflect key themes (such as entertainment, hospitality, properties and destinations), created a video, developed a mail capture facility, and handed over a content management system which would allow Ruwaad to update and maintain the site themselves.
And yes—it was all completed in time for the press conference!
